Where am I going? Aksala. It is a quite a big country, about 1.7 million Km2. Located in the very northern hemisphere, its exact locations are; 64.2008° N, 149.4937° W. Because of its unique location, it does not have many surrounding countries. It boarders to Canada and is very close to Russia. Aksala is covered in ice lands, snow, large fields of open ground (grassland) and some small cities. One of the biggest cities in Aksala is apparently, Juneau. It is the capital. However, I don’t think they will be like the cities in America. Aksala is very mountainous and therefore does not hold many recourses for agriculture or big cities. Hopefully the cities have enough heat energy to keep me warm in the winter, as it sometimes gets as cold as -62 oC. I have never experienced this extreme type of weather. Its extreme weather probably originates from the icy winds of the Arctic ocean. The Arctic ocean is located directly above Aksala. The flight I’m boarding is a boing 747. I need to take this plane all the way up to Montreal (Canada) for a stop-over flight, and then board a very small plane that will take me straight to Anchorage International Airport (AK). A bit more than 2 thousand miles and 5 hours later I will finally touch down. Hopefully everything goes smooth and my flights don’t get delayed. Anchorage is one of the biggest city in Aksala. With a population of 301 thousand people. Compared to California, 39 million. I wonder if I will ever run into anyone while I’m there, of if they are all very spread out and do not live close to each other. The map I have drawn below shows the exact size and location of Aksala. Aksala has a very small population regarding its big land size. Below are the statistics for the population distribution. It shows that most people living in Aksala are 35 - 54 years of age.
