Schooling: There are around 518 schools located all over Aksala. Approximately 140 thousand students attend these schools. In these classes the racial groups are very spread out: Aksala also values special needs students and caters to their needs. The statistics for this are: Aksala is very aware of the global goals, especially the WWF Goals, and are trying o do their part by focusing on three main points that effect Aksala the most:
We support field-based research to monitor and assess pollutants in the Arctic and we promote capacity-building and advocacy work with other organizations. Our aim is to help achieve the Toxic Program and Barents Sea Eco region conservation targets and milestones.
However, the Arctic is under severe threat from climate change, toxic pollution, oil/gas exploration and production and overfishing. WWF is working with partners across the Arctic to combat these threats and preserve the region’s rich biodiversity and ensure the sustainable use of renewable natural resources.
Healthcare Healthcare in Aksala is very well developed. Although in my days being here i have not needed to go to the hospital yet, or get medication, i have heard many great things about the hospitals and medical services in Aksala. All emergency medical help is free for everyone all over the country and is pushing for higher tax so that health care in general can be very affordable for everyone. Viruses and spreading of bacteria is very minimal because people live very separate form each other here. This prevents an outbreak of a certain virus because many people already live in isolation, making Aksala one of the safest and cleanest places to live from a medical point of view. The photograph below shows a typical house that I encountered on my safari. It was located on the outskirts of the city in Aksala.
